The owner has a profound knowledge and passion for local products, he guides the customer on a real sensorial journey, enhancing every flavor and describing each ingredient with contagious enthusiasm. A place where the territory comes to life on the plate and you really feel part of something special.

Defining the "La Pesa" place as a grocery store is certainly reductive and it is equally inadequate to see it as a place to eat a sandwich or a piadina. In reality "La Pesa" allows, as rightly highlighted in their motto, to be able to consume delicious sandwiches and excellent piadinas or, alternatively, appetizing salads. All accompanied by excellent beers and wines. In addition to the above, it is also possible to buy cold cuts, cheeses, wines, beers and other gastronomic delicacies of excellent quality at decidedly reasonable prices. The place also has a cafeteria service. The owners and all the staff are extremely courteous and welcoming. A place absolutely recommended from all points of view as it excels both in the offer and in the courtesy of the owners.

One of those places you discover that immediately makes you want to become a regular. An old-fashioned bar/shop with a wide selection of exquisite local products: bread, cured meats, cheeses, preserves, wines, beers, and much more. The quality of the products is TRULY excellent, but don't take my word for it: come in, have a "humble" sandwich made, and savor fresh, crispy artisanal bread and, above all, a generous selection of cured meats that would make even the most unsavory of people's mouths water. A sandwich with local salami, like the one in the photo: bite into it (perhaps while sitting by the lake) and you'll never want to go back.

Excellent place. Very welcoming. Local cuisine where you can create your own panini by choosing the charcuterie, cheese, and greens (lettuce, tomato). Craft beers on tap. Very good chocolate fondant and panna cotta. Very affordable prices. I recommend it.

Excellent sandwiches, excellent ingredients. The wine my boyfriend chose was excellent, and the beer was excellent. The waitress was very kind, and the owner was also very friendly. The place is pleasant and easy to get to. You pay for what you eat, so there's no point in arguing... Go to McDonald's if you want mediocrity.

A small but perfectly formed shop in the heart of Verbania. Anyone who wants to indulge in the finest sausage, cheese, and bread specialties should come here. It's worth it, because all the toppings are customizable and made in-house! Delicatessen at its finest :-P! The service and the shopkeeper are extremely friendly and really appreciate it when you give them free rein with the toppings! The man knows what he's doing and loves his products! The paninis are world-class! We'll definitely be back!

Friendly and knowledgeable owners, cheerful and welcoming waitresses, quality products at a fair price, fantastic craft beer—try the red one, served with a tasting board of cured meats and cheeses, all strictly local. Recommended. We'll be back soon.

I went here for an aperitif and I have to say that the beer was excellent and there were some delicious cold cuts on the platter.
